Shining a "Lyte" on Infant and Child Re-Hydration

For more than 25 years, hospitals have provided Enfamil Enfalyte to parents who want to quickly replace fluids and electrolytes for their infants and children suffering from vomiting and diarrhea. And today, for the first time, anxious parents can obtain that same trusted product at a nearby store and their favorite e-tailer.

Mead Johnson Nutrition’s Enfalyte is now available at most Walgreens stores throughout the U.S. The product first arrived at retail outlets in July, with wider distribution planned for the future.

Along with the new buying options, Enfalyte now offers two new flavors, Cherry Splash and Mixed Fruit, designed to appeal to young taste buds. And, as always, Enfalyte contains no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.

“Today’s consumers want convenience and choice,” said Steve Yarbrough, Vice President, U.S. Retail Sales and Customer Development. “Expanding our reach into trusted retail outlets, and expanding our flavor selection, makes it easier for parents and caregivers to get the help they need for children suffering from vomiting or diarrhea.”
