Advancing Our Efforts in Latin America

Two grand opening ceremonies were held in Mexico City the week of Jan. 18, one for a new office location for the Mead Johnson Mexico national and Latin America regional teams and the other for the Pediatric Nutrition Institute – Latin America.

The Pediatric Nutrition Institute – Latin America will support the pioneering science and innovation and the highest level of product quality that are essential cornerstones of our mission to nourish the world’s children for the best start in life. This new institute is designed to help advance understanding among parents and healthcare professionals of the connection between nutrition and long-term health outcomes. Specifically, how early-life nutrition plays a significant role in determining metabolic health, immune system strength, resistance to allergies, and mental and visual development.

The two facilities represent a combined investment of nearly $12 million and reflect the growth and importance of the company’s business in Mexico and across Latin America.
