Our people are the reason for our success and selecting the right person for the job is critical to our company’s performance. For this reason, we take recruitment seriously. A brief summary of our recruiting process is outlined below.

1. Explore Opportunities

You can use our Careers website to search for the right opportunity for you, or you can register for job alerts to be notified of future opportunities. You may submit your profile even if there is not a current position that matches your interests. We review our database regularly to identify potential candidates for our openings.

2. Apply for a Position

After you have found the right opportunity, if you have not already done so, you will be asked to create an online profile. During this process, you will upload your resume and describe your past work experience through an online questionnaire.

If our recruitment team considers you to be a good fit for the position, they will arrange a phone call to learn more about you. If not, we will keep your resume on file for future opportunities. However, you will need to apply for those opportunities separately.

3. Schedule a Phone Interview

Our initial phone interview is a 30 minute discussion that will determine the possibility of scheduling an in-person interview. The phone interview is a two-way discussion: we explore your experiences, education, skills and future career aspirations, while you learn more about what it's like to work at Mead Johnson.

4. Conduct an On-Site Interview

Our on-site interviews are behaviorally based. We use questions to help us better understand how you act and react to certain situations. This process allows us to look more closely at your experiences, skills and abilities, and determine how well they match our current and future job openings.

This is an opportunity for us to understand your capabilities and what motivates you, and for you to learn more about our company. We know that, just as we are selecting the right person to help grow our business, you are selecting the right role to shape your future career.

5. Receive an Offer

If, after the resume screening, phone interview and in person interview, we feel that you are the best candidate for the position, we will promptly send you an offer to join our team.

6. Onboarding

Once you accept your offer to join Mead Johnson, we will conduct pre-placement exams and prepare for your start date. We will partner with you along the way to ensure you have the knowledge, skills, resources and relationships to succeed.
