Mead Johnson Nutrition Prices Initial Public Offering at $24.00 Per Share

EVANSVILLE, Ind., Feb. 10, 2009 — Mead Johnson Nutrition Company today announced that its initial public offering of Class A common stock has been priced at $24.00 per share. The size of the offering was increased to 30 million shares from the initial size of 25 million shares.

The shares are scheduled to begin trading tomorrow, February 11, 2009, on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "MJN". The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4.5 million shares to cover over-allotments, if any. The company noted that net proceeds of approximately $680 million would be used to repay intercompany obligations.

Citi, Morgan Stanley, Banc of America Securities LLC, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. The public offering is being made by means of a prospectus, copies of which may be obtained from:
