The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children provides infant formula vouchers, food vouchers, breastfeeding support, and nutrition education to low-income infants, children, and mothers who are found to be at nutritional risk.
Mead Johnson Nutrition holds infant formula rebate contracts with many states, Indian Tribal Organizations and territories. The rebate payments made by Mead Johnson Nutrition enable the states to serve nearly 100% of their eligible infant participants.
Mead Johnson has formulas approved in all 50 states. The following U.S. states and territories have designated Mead Johnson as their contractor for routine formula issuance to program participants:
