Over the last weekend in April, more than 175 Mead Johnson employees, family and friends joined the Mead Johnson team to walk in the annual March of Dimes’ March for Babies events in Evansville, Indiana; Glenview, Illinois; and Zeeland, Michigan.
Aligning closely with Mead Johnson’s mission to nourish the world’s children for the best start in life, Mead Johnson employees enthusiastically supported the March for Babies events. The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness about prematurity and generate funds to research and build programs that help premature babies during the critical first days and weeks of life.
This year, the Mead Johnson team raised more than $105,000 for the event, surpassing the team’s 2011 total by more than $30,000. This success was a combination of employee contributions, the company’s matching gift program, and creative fundraising activities that gave everyone a chance to be involved.
