Mead Johnson participated in the 44th annual meeting of the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) held recently in Sorrento, Italy.

In conjunction with the meeting, Mead Johnson hosted a satellite symposium titled, “The Latest News on Impacting Brain and Gut Development in the Infant.” The event – attended by more than 600 international leaders in infant and children’s nutrition – was chaired by Jon Vanderhoof, MD, vice president, Mead Johnson Global Affairs and featured a panel of scientists from around the world. The symposium covered critical topics such as tolerance induction to cow’s milk protein, gut inflammation and motility, and the role of DHA in brain development.

Mead Johnson scientists also presented four informational sessions and hosted an exhibit booth which showcased key scientific publications.
