Breaking Ground on New Pediatric Nutrition Institute in China

Mead Johnson held a groundbreaking ceremony this week for the new Pediatric Nutrition Institute at our facility in Guangzhou, China.

The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries and government officials, key health associations, as well as Mead Johnson colleagues from China and neighboring regions.

The new facility, expected to open in late 2011, will be more than 53,000 square feet and include a research center, pilot plant and administration building. The research center will have several state-of-the-art laboratories including sensory evaluation, physical properties and chemical test laboratory, and product development laboratory.
